01 MXZ 700 to 03 MXZ 800 Renegade

Hey guys, I just went from an 01 MXZ 700 with 6200 miles to an 03 MXZ 800 Renegade with 360 miles.
I had the 700 for five years and really liked it.

What should I expect in terms of performance?

What should I watch out for?

The ZX chassis got more and more refined every year up to 03. Longer track so better deep snow performance. More torque from the engine, but to be honest, the 700 was the best engine Skidoo had in that era, I have no idea why they discontinued it. You may or may not like the 800, I far prefer the 7.

The 700 make ~121 Hp
The 800 make ~132 Hp

Look out for the :mad2: Useless OEM Reedcage and intake rubber
Do yourself a favour and buy Boyesen reed cage in aluminium for it and never look back.
