Do the 2017 Vipers have the weak rods like the 2016's did?

Like SOME of the 16s did and.....NO...they don't. The 16 issue was one of some of the sets of rods missing the heat treating. And unlike the other manufactures Yamaha is covering it for the people that bought the Yamaha approved turbos
So if you got one and did not turbo it , they are not covering it ?

They haven't officially released a recall, but by the sounds of it negative.
