I wanted to note.. I had about 400 miles on my sled and turbo... Reeds were toast... For me no starting issues or midrange it would just flood on the top in on pulls and drowned the engine and sometimes would work... Trying reed stops and some carbon turbo reeds because I think the problem started over 100 miles ago and has been getting worse... I would hope to get 500 miles at least from the reeds...

Boyesen turbo specific reeds. Had to call them directly and get part number and order from them. First season 1000 miles I smoked 3 different sets I tried. Then got the turbo specific ones and I've probly got atleast 1500 miles on them at 11pounds. Check them all the time with my bore scope cam and look mint. Was told Carbons not the best idea for turbos cuz if they come apart in big chunks they won't disintegrate as much in the engine and could hit the turbine. Don't know how true but who knows.

So the specific ones I got only have 2 pedals... Are yours similar? They are carbon also....

Ahhh frig it's been long time since I put them in. But I think it was just 2 not 4 ya. Also there just a normal composite looking same as regular reeds.

I just bought a set of boyesen turbo reeds, I believe mine to be gone it's over fuelling a ton. I will reply with any notable changes I can see!

Off the top of anyone's head if my reeds aren't broken or cracked, what else would cause over fuelling ?

Reeds

Just replaced mine with stock ones and a guy told me to double them up. You guys heard of this? I didn't do it but made me wonder if that is a solution.

Any type of space that is causing them to be a tiny bit open or loose enough to open prematurely..

Just FYI, m1000 reeds have 2 petals verses 4 on the 800 ho. I've had good luck running the 1000's in my 800. People have had good results running 800 reeds on top of the 1000's. I've never tried it but I'd think you'd loose some bottom end snap. There's tons of reed threads for the cats if you want to read through them all.

Linderman told me to put stock 1000 reeds in mine. Not sure the difference but working great.
I have been told the same.. Either use turbo reeds for the 800 or go to the 1000s ... I was told the 1000s you loose bottom end.. Did you notice?

Don't know any difference, put them in with the turbo install. Obviously more lag than stock but no worse than any other turbo I've rode.

Im on a old school 09 m series and i built my own turbo kit but i use the m1000 reeds and i double the bottom one up but with one that is cut in half i have over 3000 miles on mine at 9/10 psi. That said your turbo set up will probably make or break your reeds.try them.
