Reversing going downhill?

Does anyone out there still use the old school method of just putting your spare belts around the skis? I've never done it but have heard it works well. Not owning a sled with reverse I've always thought about it but not until after I've had a chance to clean my shorts after an especially fun decent.;)

I saw a person do that a couple times last weekend it seemed to work quite well

Did this on my M7 once! Actually worked pretty great.

As an ex-hillclimb racer.....coming down was always the part that got the biggest rush!! You can control going up, but coming down is Uncle Gravity tuggin' at ya. I recomend riding within your means.....reverse coming down!!! Please.
