My dd planetary gears failed and the other gears and bearings appear to be good yet. Should I replace everything or will I be ok just replacing the planetary gears.

You can get a new one at BDxtreme for a good price. If gears look good run them..

check carefully the welds on the stock M7 input shaft gear( welds on a gear set..........that's cheap ), last three sets I repalced when gearing these sleds down, all had hairline cracks. Poor design, the aftermarket bdx gears are way better than cat installed in 05-06
