Evolution Powersports & White Knuckle Motorsports PROJECT X ProClimb 800/8000 TURBO

Evolution Powersports in conjunction with White Knuckle Motorsports, our Canadian distributor of Evo performance parts, is officially announcing some details about PROJECT X. For those not familiar with us check out our credentials on www.evopowersports.com and our sister company at www.evoms.com. After a very successful debut with our PC1100t turbo kits and performance parts last winter we are taking the two stroke turbo market to another level.

Due to the proprietary nature of the components we have developed, we will release information slowly over the next few months with an "official" unveiling sometime in the near future (this summer)

Project X has been developed by the Special Ops Division of Evolution Powersports and Motorsports & White Knuckle Motorsports. EVO Special Ops is responsible for our world record setting 1500 hp Porsche 997 twin turbo and numerous other insane projects.

Project X sneak peak:
  • Is a turbo kit for the ProClimb 800/8000
  • Has a unique engine management system that allows full control over ALL functions
  • Has a Unique Turbocharger
  • Is a completely stealth and bolt on installation

Our goal for this project has been from day 1 to make a turbo system for the 800 run as good as our 4 strokes turbos. Having been around sleds for over twenty years we have been thru the two stroke turbo game more than once ourselves. Some experiences better than others, but none to the level we have set the bar for this project.

This thread will be updated when we are ready to release more information.

One word that comes to mind. AWESOME!!!!

It is going to be great to have a EVO in the 2 stroke turbo game. The product is awesome and the tuning knowledge is beyond anything in the 2 stroke world right now.

Nice, hope this special opps team has been out testing lots, was wondering what turbo to go with for the 2 stroke, hope it is like, stand alone, maybe.

Are you gonna turbo the pro-lite? Just another reason I ordered the 800 version...easily turbo'd if I ever desire. A turbo prolite 900 would be off the charts tho!!:light:

Whats the story??

Here is a a little more information:

The turbocharger is a TiAL/Garrett GT series turbocharger with TiAL V band SS housing with an integrated wastegate.

The fuel/boost/timing control is accomplished by an EVO "Hybrid ECU". More details about this engine control system and further kit details will be released soon.

Any new info ready to relese .

Our EVO Hybrid ECU is a standalone ECU that is capable of completely replacing the factory ECU.

Rather than reprogram everything, we allow the factory ecu to control select functions like the dash display. All engine parameters are managed by our Hybrid ECU. We control boost, timing, injection, ect. The ECU has multimap capability, antilag, and all of the advanced features that modern race type ECUs have. It has altitude compensated boost control as well.

There are no extra injectors. The kit has 2 larger injectors that are scaled properly to run the engine at idle & low boost as well as deliver the required fuel when needed.

Project X will initially be a 7-8 lb kit. The turbo we have selected is an EVO/TiAL modified Garrett GT. This turbo is capable of 260 hp at 10,000'. We believe this will be the 1st snowmobile application of a V band SS housing with integrated wastegate. Our exhaust is SS as well.

Our Stage 1 Kit will be non user adjustable for consumers other than possibly a 2nd higher boost map.

Our ECU and Tuning Suite will be made available to other companies who are interested.

We will have more details about this in a few weeks.

Be happy with your ovs kit, it runs perfectly! If you must have EVO. Sell your m series, buy a pro climb and install new EVO turbo.

Otherwise, wait for snow, install sled on snow, pull the cord and mash the flapper!!!!

So will you only be carrying the ovs stuff or will you carry the Evo kits when they come out also. Oh and thanks for the smokin price on the 3" I just got from you!
