While I know those two don't get along too well, they are both extremely bright guys. I got the rev2 kit and took the cylinders off to get honed, ended up finding a crack on the intake skirt of the cylinder after about 1800 miles....lucky catch. I had Indy Specialties do the HG7 finish and it looks really nice, they also balanced the primary clutch and trued it. I am impressed with the REV2 Kit as well as the work from Indy Dan. If you listen to them both you may find you learn a lot.

What year of sled or engine was it? I am curious if it was a 2013 or newer.

Yeah I'm curious as well...betting it's a '11-'12. I have yet to see a 2013 or later crack...

It is an 11 with about 1800 miles....should be good now, the bores did measure out nicely, the pistons looked good visually but after taking a better measurement they were very bad. The skirts measured 3.331 and 3.329
