Will a primary clutch from a 2015 Pro 800 RMK be the same as a 17 Axys 800 RMK. I see quite a few different part #'s on the front face plates yet the polaris part fiche show only one part number 1323209?

My 17 has 1323216 on the face, I'm looking at a 1323208 off a 15 and they look the same?

Don't care about weights and springs, I 'll change those anyway.

Any ideas?

I would say yes they fit. The 600 clutch however has a lighter front cover bushing. Also the newer clutches got a slightly different sheave angle to grab the belt harder but i know guys who ran the older style on the AXYS. Then there are clutches with ring gears for e-start. Now the 19's with new stub shaft size/angle.

I thought there was a different crank taper on the 800 Axys in 2016. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes they're the same clutch other than the sheave angle. Send it to Indy Dan and have them re-cut the sheave (might as well balance it while there). I just did this for my sled. They do amazing work!

You're close. The taper changed for MY19 on the 850's.

What did change in 2016 was the taper and the belt. Many (myself included) had been getting the recut done on the 2015 and previous clutches.

The 2015 clutch "will work" on the 2017 but as recommended, you should have it recut by IndyDan or Carls and have it shimmed & rebalanced.

If you need to run the older clutch in a bind, then I would rec running the 2007-2015 1115 belt.
