Has anyone replaced the handlebars with an aftermarket one on the 850 and how did you connect the grip heaters to the new connector? Can you buy that connector somewhere?

Has anyone else tried just removing and reinstalling the factory ones? I've had success doing this on my Pro RMK and Summit just applying heat with a hair dryer, some patience, and then a little electrical tape to hold in in place when reinstalling on new bars with new grips.

That's what I originally wanted to do but my new bars have the built in hooks on the end and I wanted the warmers to go over the bends as well. The stock warmers don't have the extensions on them.

AK knows his stuff... and has a new 850 in his stable, I believe (I do not)... so I'd defer to his post... and assume that Polaris has changed out to an actual sealed connector on the warmer. The past Metri-Pack 150 Unsealed connectors were less than Ideal... and although the Weather Pack connectors are bulky... they seal well and are robust... they are very easy to source...even NAPA has them... the pins are easy to remove and connectors are easy to assemble.

Just make sure you use the seals that are small enough for the wire on the heaters.

PN 2414273, the GRIP HEATER, LO/HI, ALUMINUM is UNIQUE to 2019 sleds... so... there you go... I stand corrected and it seems you have purchased the correct connector.

Since you can re-use the connector housings and seals from the original heaters... You would only need the tool (Oreilly/NAPA etc) and some new pins, which you can get at NAPA etc (even amazon). If you dont want to cut off the pins from the old heaters... you can buy new seals easily too (probably the purple ones for that gauge of wire)

Easy source for the WP connectors:
