7000' snow level later this week for a few days.... You asked for it and now the January thaw is upon us. How fast does 13 feet of snow melt in 40 degree temps??? Anyone??? Anyone??

Real fast.

24 degrees and raining most of the day at pass level (Inversions rule). Around 4pm quickly turned to heavy snow. Finally we got that rain event to settle the pack some. I ain't complaining. The last big dig I had at Gold Creek had a severe facet layer about 8ft down. Sketchy.
