Building a sled, and I got a complete 2010 M skid (162), since starting to work on them I have noticed they flex easily and only 2 cross shafts. Does A/C make a rail stiffener for this rail? What have you guys done to fix this? I looked at adding another cross shaft but the pattern in the rail doesnt allow for it. Thanks

On my 153 I have added 2 of those stock shafts to stiffen it up. I had to drill my own holes in the rails where I wanted them. As for AC making like bolt on to the rail stiffeners, I'm not sure about the M rails. I know for the sno pro rails they do.

Depending how much trail you ride you could take out the middle idler wheels and use those holes for a crosstube brace.

I took those wheels off my 162 and it works fine. I haven't put a crosstube brace in place of the wheels.

I did this also but installed another brace where the wheels were and have not had any problems, before I did this I bent the crap out of a set of 09 162rails. Here is a link to the rail stiffner kit from the HCR race sleds.

Here is a Pic of my skid with the wheels gone and brace installed.

I did hear that it was the middle wheels causing the problems, I have to run some trail to get there, so this may not be an option for me? The HCR kit may be the answer. I saved the link.....Thanks guys
