So I'm working on a summit 700. It has a bog if you pin it wide open, and it falls on its face. If you back it off to 3/4 throttle it will pick up and go to 8000 rpm no problem. Recently changed the stator with no change. How can you check the DPEM? Also the oil/brake light stays on all the time... even if oil bottle is full. Please help lost in 2stroke smoke!!!

I think that oil sending unit thing is commonly broken off inside the tank. The light will burn out eventually... :face-icon-small-win

Have you cleaned the carbs? I wonder if your main jet could be 1/2 gunked up? If so - be glad you haven't burnt it down already!

I don't know what else would cause that?

Yes, I've cleaned and adjusted the carbs to service specs but what about altitude. What air/fuel setting do i need for 10,000 ft? What size main also? Are you supposed to see fuel in the two middle DPM lines?
