I to have a vibration in my 06 700 i have been told that that is the way is they used the same crank and lower case of the 900 just put smaller cylinders and pistons to make it a 700 they hoped it would eliminate the vibration but did not, I gues that would be why it was o one hit wonder

Happy sledding

Not sure, but I think some guys did a engine plate mod that helped with the vibration and belt issues. Check with mountainhorse...he's a good source for the 900/755 issues.

2900 milies on mine and just sold it. However, it always had a buzz or vibration at about 1/3 throttle. I just got used to it. Had my clutch cleaned and balanced every year, no change.

Overall, great sled. Sold it after a 09 D8 163 fell in front of me for a price I couldn't turn down.

btw - annual cleaning and balancing of the clutch is the #1 best preventative maintenance against crank failure - i.m.o.

Clutch Balancing

Just got my clutch back from SLP and got the sled back together. I dont think it really helped with the vibration but they did a lot of drilling on it so it was obviously out of balance.
