Had anybody installed a mountain fit headlight delete on there ascender chassis? Curious what it looks like from the console. Pondering that or the 2019 updated intake to fix all the intake gaps

have installed it on my 18 and on my alpha yesterday. I personally wouldn't do it without the intake version they offer. its more expensive but so much easier and cleaner. u will lose your heated glove box bag tho unless you get creative and make spot to keep it.

Are you talking the intake option on the delete that makes it 150$ or the full poly hood?

150$ version. last year i did that option but the vents came seperate and i had to install vents...then the delete. This season ordered same thing but it came all pre-vented (nice) and everything was a better fit. i farted around in shop installing it and took me about hour or little more but i wasn't trying to hard and i was making sure to trim stuff up for perfect fit. I only used 4 rivets out of the 10 they supplied. I also ordered light they offer (wanted to try it) and had them pre-wire for the light. not bad setup but the pigtails had the wrong size connectors on it, i had to modify. I'm having trouble uploading pics or i would show ya everything. :(

that looks really good! ill probably mount my rigid 6" bar on the handlebars like I did with my carbon hood, its nice to have the light turn with the bars

Will you be able to return the hood/intake back to stock after installation or is it a permanent fixture on the hood once installed?

no cutting. i only drilled 4 small holes in the black edge of the underhood to rivet for fit. could probably reverse it in about 30 minutes.
