I
I have a 2012 M1100T that just this year decided that under half a tank of fuel it wouldn't run when uphill. This most commonly manifests itself when your stuck at a high angle after trenching.
If you leave the sled running it won't have an issue, but once you shut it off, if it is uphill when you start it, it stumbles and doesn't rev up due to fuel starvation.
Back in the day I switched the vented smart value to the back of the tank to prevent fuel starvation when under a half tank at full throttle, but I did that back in 2012.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm assuming that the issue is the smart values somehow losing their prime, versus the fuel pump starting to **** the bed. That seem like a reasonable assumption?
The smart value assembly is of course on backorder right now...
