70 here at the cabin today. The 6-9 inches we got is now 1 inch of slop. Just to be clear this is on High sign road not the bowls.

we rode yesterday, warm very nice and of course it was windy. The bridge before snowbank had snow on it on the way up and on the way down it was dry that was at 7pm last night. The road after the bridge on the way down is starting to get bare spots in it already and you can see that it wont be long and we will be riding the ditch to ge up there. The snow up to is still there. As black summit says it was very warm up there, the snow was very stickey and settled about 3-4 inches in the time we were up there. But still plenty of snow. here are some pics

we did some climbing but stayed off the major slopes

Looks like you had a good day. Does anybody know what the hole is on the south end of the lake in 4th picture ? It always has water in the bottom but has to be lower than the lake level. Is it a natural dam ?

New snowmobiler here, thinking about running to Lincoln Saturday. Anybody have any advice on conditions or where to go?

I was there in August of 2002.

If I remember correctly there isn't a hole there. I believe it's all due to drifting snow coming down off the bench and then the main hill above it.

Thanks for the Saturday road / rode report via PM: "The road was good for us, but we went in early, more traffic after us. It should be good, with no bare spots on the road.The parking lot was starting to show bare spots."
