Hello all! Just wanted to announce that Emilie Moreshead and myself have partnered up with Kobra Ki Productions to bring you a full length backcountry sledchick film this fall. We have been furiously filming and not finished yet! :whip:

Some of you are famliar with Kobra Ki's youtube channel and so you know his talent of both capturing footage and editing it. Here's an example of footage he's gathered this year so far. It isn't just us ladies, but still quite enjoyable! ;)

You Toob clicky

On most of our filming days we've been spoiled rotten to have a FABULOUS photographer, :hail: Zack Kinnear, with us. He's provided us thousands of pictures to choose from, I'm in heaven! LOL

Here's a little bit of sneek peek of what's to follow... I'll add more as time goes on too!

Ohhhhh man!!!! We just got back from a KILLER weekend fliming in Revy that was SUPER productive!!! Michelle KILLED it for her first day on her 180 kit Nytro! Stock track, stock skid, not fully tuned in yet, bought the day before and first time on this sled! Michelle was tackling some pretty big chutes and climbs up in the Turtle area!! SUPER cool to watch her confience and guts when sizing up these chutes and planning her line of attack! Considering Michelle decided to get into chute climbing a week ago I'd say we're in for a WILD RIDE watching this girl progress!!!

My buddy Jimmy also came up to help scout out jumps and line them up for Brandy and me. He did a FANTASTIC job finding jumps while we were shooting Michelle and kept our whole team moving from one area to the next so we could accomplish a TON! Super stellar and VERY productive weekend....

And I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY stoked about this whole project and am looking forward to showing the stuff of some of the top female riders that are really dedicated to pushing this sport and showing that women can hang on ALL levels when in the backcountry or are out on the street representing their sponsors!! It's great to see some of these ladies really taking it seriously and showing some focus and drive! i think you all are in for a treat seeing ladies take it to this next level!!

It was good to see you up there Em!!! Too bad we couldn't hook up for a ride... Maybe next time. Glad you girls pushed the limits and came out safe and sound!

I believe Brandy got Megan MacDougall tackling the first female ascent over The Monster... That's going to be a great addition to your film!!! Love to see the girls pushing themselves for the love of the sport and the pure adrenaline!

Keep it up ladies!!!!!!!!

We've got a bit of footy so far... but the sunny days & big booters are on the way, so much more to come from us!

Awesome awesome!!!

I'm actually starting to feeling like I could now come down and play (jump) with you guys.... maybe next year! We had a guy coaching us this past weekend and it was SO fun! Found Em and me a kicker that took my breath away... but left me wanting MORE!

Here's some pictures from this past weekend in Revelstoke:

Michelle shows up on Saturday after purchasing a TNytro on Friday and hit IT hard! She looked these chutes up and down then said "You don't have a chance...." Talking TO the chutes! LOL Then promptly popped down on the lake and climbed the 2 to the far right! :canada:

Nice! I've tried to get Matt to lay under jumps for me, but I'm not sure he trusts me enough cause it hasn't happened yet! With a helmet cam now we could try some angles like that, without risking his life for a shot..... :face-icon-small-ton

Lisa, that is a good use for the GoPro's... where our guys don't want to be... lol Plus I really like the wide angle view they have.

Oh, and I just got the woird from Shaun, he was able to review the footy Brandy got of megan in Monster and we hope to be able to use that in our film too!!!

NICE!!! I hadn't mentioned this as I was pretty sure I did a HORRIBLE job of filming. Between forgotten tripod:nono:, amatuer filmer:shocked:, filming from across the valley:mmph: AND holding my breath while watching:bounce:... I just figured the footage was at the very least SHAKY! :( SO, NOW, that I know we have it........................................... SO EXCITED! Megan made a flawless climb, a history making climb ANNNNNNNNNNNND an inspiring climb! :high5: Many of the things we are striving to show in our film! :clap2:

Wow, this GoPro has really great quality! I was amazed how well it focuses, and goes from shadow to sun without a problem. It will get some major use and some beatings before the season is over, and probably run over a few times too. Now if only my computer would let me do some editing.... I need some computer mods!

oh man, we forgot to get out teaser up in this thread... bummer...

anyway, we will be shipping in a week or so and will have them at all the shows! Shaun did a fantastic job and only use the BEST footage we had. means a few of the shaky shots didn't make the cut which is a bummer but we were shooting for a high quality film that really showcased the talented female riders in the backcountry, i think we nailed it and you all should be well entertained!
