After turning my oiler down WAY to much I scored the Mag side of my o6 m7. I have a new cylinder and piston for the fix but wondering if I might have hurt the crank...?

If you burnt it down you have to pull it all apart and clean it. Replace both pistons/rings.

Both pistons? The PTO side looks clean and shows no score marks. I will change rings since its apart forsure. I rather not take out the crank if I don't have to.

I assumed you burnt a hole in the piston. Bet I was wrong. As long as you didn't the lower end should be OK. You should replace the pistons at around 4,000 miles. It is your choice. It is apart now. I would also use OEM pistons. Have the cylinders honed to break the glaze. I had mine done at Yellowstone H-D. He checked the ring gap for me also.

keep it fat

That is why you should run it on the fat side. What is the difference maybe 30-40 bucks a season in oil or that...crank should be fine...32:1 is fine..especially at altitude...
