Not worth the money other than for the D&R but modern MTN sleds are already running 2.4 or so inch tracks so this really limits the need more than it did in the older chassis.I have a CMX drive and it is cool but 2k + labor or alot of garage time just is not worth the little gain ( weight savings ) you get

A few years ago I did a dyno test on a belt drive. i had a stock 700 motor and a bulkhead from a 99 700. I rigged up the driveshaft so that the dyno could connect there. We locked the clutches and dynoed with the chain and then a belt drive. We found a 3% increase in power with the belt drive.
