Running a 2001 summit 800x ,159'' x 2''challenger and want to go to bigger idler wheels from 6 3/8 to the 8'' inch configuration ,any gearing or clutch issuses .Have 9''inch drivers with 19/43 gears .
Convert to 8 inch rear idler wheels

Shouldn't be any issues. Just buy a offset axle & the wheels & install. It will help your track roll easier.

You should do it i just put mine on last weekend and they look so dam sweet just make sure you buy the relocaton ax if not they will run to low on the botom of the rails i have a 04 summit x and from 180mm to 8 inch i used the mountain machine performance ax and they are for the xp skid frame so they have square holes in the rails. I need to revamp my skid so i can loosen up the track, it was a little tricky geting the subframe in. if you have any ? pleas feel free to pm me
