I'm in that mode again....doing little mods to keep busy until the season starts. I pulled my light pod and hot glued pre-filter over the openings. I am also interested in removing the entire upper gauge area. I am adding an after market temp, a/f gauge, and tach that will probably mount on the tank cover. When you take the pod off, it looks so sleek and rounded like a jet ski as opposed to the jagged little head that is there now and likes to collect snow. I am wondering if anyone has made a top for that area out of plastic and screen?
