does anyone know of the best way to ship a snowmobile within the US at a relativly low cost . Any responce would be great.

I have shipped 3 sleds using uShip, it worked out well - just watch there feedback and choose wisely

I also used U ship to get bids of between 475-600 from Rexburg ID to Milwaukee WI.
I ended up having the dealer put it back in the Ski Doo box and ship it LTL freight through Fed Ex freight for $230 priority. That was with my work accoutn and discounts though so not sure what it would have been otherwise.
Also got quotes through freightquote.com for $207 but would have had to also be crated up.
agreed that you would have to choose wisely if using Uship after watching some of the horror stories on the show shipping wars which is some of the same shippers
