After getting a shippment of the SPOTS in this week, I activated one and it works like it says! I emailed my wife and did some tracking on googlearth and had no problems.
These are pretty neat little units! As far as size goes they are just slightly smaller than the average avy beacon. Just posting for those who are curious!
