I have a 2005 polaris fusion 900 and I let it warm up for about 10 minutes and slowly pulled away and the lights cut out and then the motor died after. I dragged it back to the garage and checked the fuel pump make sure that did not go and I cycled it for a little and pulled it and nothing. I then kept jumping it while I had someone pull and the sled started. (I forgot to mention i do have spark) So It fired up and ran as long as i was priming the pump. I then checked the voltage regulator and I saw that the gas tank gasket was leaking and dripping all over it. I am going to replace the VR and the seal and hope this is the fix. What else could it be? I assume if the stator went i wouldn't even have spark?
