A friend needs to know if a 144x16x2/2.52 Ski-Doo track will fit? What mods if any? Thanks. (not sure what track is on it now, will find out)

the track you need is a 144 X 15 x 2.52.
you can cut the 16 wide down to 15 wide.. on a table SAW..
i would find a different track..

Will a 16" wide not fit? I thought there was someone on here running a 16" wide on an old Storm. Just because it doesn't come with it, doesn't mean it won't fit. I know there are guys running 16" wide tracks on CATs that came with 15" wides. The Crazy Mountain Extreme runs a 16" wide track, and if I remember right they were using Polaris bulk-heads.
Will someone please try it and show us why it will or will not work......:crazy:

Read the post, We know a 15 wide will fit, the question is will a 166666666666 SIXTEEN !!!!!!!! WIDE 2,52 pitch fit. TABLE SAW????????

a 16 wide will fit. the gen 2 tunnel is 16.25 inches wide. i know i just put a 151 skid out of a iq in mine and had to make some spacers as the iq skid is only 15.5 inches wide. may have to trim some rivets down.
