I looked briefly at the idea but both the intake and exhaust in the front of the M1000 engine would have been very difficult to fit in the IQ chassis, at least more fabrication than I wanted to mess with. I decided to go old school and putting a 900 carb'd 1m enigine in. I bought everything from a parted out 1m with 1400 miles on the engine\primary.

I will loose the reverse which is the biggest drawback. Going to use an IQ engine plate blank from Fasttrax, will need to put a bend in the front tower cross support bar and possibly one in the steering post, going to extend the expansion chamber in my 800 Polaris SLP single about 4". Everything else should be rewiring\replumbing and some messing with the clutches and airbox.
