I still would like to know the same as well. Might just try one this year if my 2.6 gets any worse. I see you are in Cali, I would certainly think it would be better in your heavier and more setup snow. I am guessing it wont work as well as the 2.6 in powder.

ya, we definitely have more wet/heavy quick to set up snow now.
I had an extensive conversation with tracksusa earlier.
he suggested either the CE 2.5 or the conquer 280 for here. said once the 280 breaks in, it is good. but takes time. he said if money is not a concern, he would go 280.
i have seen reports of the 280 not holding up well. that is the last thing i want. spend a pile of money on a garbage track

Two years ago, I put a 9105M with center port fully clipped on my 800 PRO 163 after talking with CAMSO and Tracks Unlimited and I have been every place that the AXYS,s with the 2.6s in our group for the last two years, no problems! If you go that way, what would you take for the 2.6 take off? I plan to get an Axys 2.6 and would like to replace the 2.5 on my PRO and take the 2.5 and put it on the new AXYS and keep the 2.6 for the future! I think it is as good of track and with fully clipped there is no signs of wear on my PRO at this point (near 2000 miles) and is easier on the HYFAX.

In my Doo days I ran the 9102 which is the 16 wide version of the same track and I liked it. I think it might edge out the Series 6 2.6 Poo with slightly less trenching. Its 10 lbs heavier though fully clipped so there is some pros and cons.

But I liked the Series 5 2.4 over the 2.6, and wasn't a fan of my Series 7 3" at all.

I just installed a C E 2.5 on my 2016 AXYS last year put 3000 on it in the Yoop far better track than stock smokes my buddies AXYS 800 switchback 2" in drag race. I know it's not the mountains but I would not buy anything else for replacement. Wish my checked 850 had an option to have it.

we added them to the pro ride rmks in the past and they worked well in the north east and canada. were currently putting them on a 18 rmk and a 16 sks, my wife we are saving her 2.6 with just clipping it fully (or at least thats the hope. will have more info this winter :)

I have one on my SKS. It worked well for the 300 miles I got on it last year. It is coming off and will be for sale. I am going for the 3" CE this year
