so I bought this a few weeks ago with a blown engine for 1500.00..


so to start off we will see what I can find to replaced pretty much the complete motor or possibly switch to another power plant..


so I will start with a few pics and update as I go..and as the RZR and other pro they are not mine...had to store in a buddies garage for a few weeks

That's a steel at that price! I was thinking about going with the Indy Dan long rod in my 13. Or are you thinking something more "custom" for a power plant?



not sure yet... I found some core fixable motor parts and was going to send the cases to Dan and get one of his top end kits.. would love to do a TMX but still with a 10 and a 15 year old always wanting bigger and better I have to skimp on me..


thought about a 2010 motor I have but need to find a way to cap the lower inj. or get case plugs.

Mule on BCR has a motor off a 2012 that's in much better shape then the one you have now. He parting out his sled.

going to turn up oiler when reinstall and look for some 14 inj.. and reflash to 14 or am I off the wall about that?

If possible match up to 15. They run the best.

2011 4- hole DEKA injectors (bigger OD where it goes into cylinder)
2012-2016 8 hole Bosch injectors much nicer spray pattern.

I updated one of my 11's with 12 injectors and matching 12 ECU.

The mapping on 15's and 16's is superior, the problem is harness differences (i.e. ethanol setting in MFD vs changing resistor) and possible compatibility problems. I'd go the 2012 route and have the ECU reflashed with a better fuel map.

I have a complete 2012 engine with the ECU as well as a the full Quickdrive set up.

Had to replace broken brace in bulkhead and did a major clean. Then installed the motor .... I am going to install all the new electronics I got with the motor...hope to have running tomorrow!!
