No. It's very far from Sochi.
It is center of Russia, Siberia, near city Krasnoyarsk. You can check it Google Earth.

Lago-Naki, or the Lago-Naki Plateau is a plateau in Western Caucausus at a height of 2,200 meters, famous for its alpine meadows. Almost the entire plateau’s territory is a part of the Maikop district of the Republic of Adygea, small areas in the northern part of the plateau are included in the Apsheron district of the Krasnodar Territory.
The Lago-Naki Plateau is not merely a beautiful place. There are excellent mountains and high-quality snow.:face-icon-small-hap

Are there environmental groups trying to pass laws to stop snowmobiling in Krasnoyarsk territory?
Seems most places in the USA are trying to restrict snowmobiling.
