Default 1998 RMK

Working on a 1998 RMK Trail for a friend.
Can't seem to get it to stay running.
Acts like it is running out of fuel. Changed
filter. Tank is clean, Fuel pump is good.
Air box good. Checked all fuel lines. Checked
compression. Cleaned carbs.
Any suggestions??

Will it stay running if you feather the throttle, and just not idle?

I have experienced chipped/ broken reed petals that made one of these not want to run at low rpms at all.
