Gen 2 700 blue hood sks 136'' track what year is it?

Hi
I got a look at a gen 2 sks with a blue hood and 136 track everything is stock and I might add mint condition except for the blown engine

The engine is a 700 with non rack and appear to be Mikunis not kehins and the seems to some kind of altidude compensating system attached to the carbs

I think it also said on the hood something like acss ?

anyway does anyone know what year this sled is

Sounds like a 2000. What color is the tunnel? If the tunnel is non-painted aluminum, it is probably a 2000 if it is powder coated black then it is a 1999.

There are other differences between the 99 and 00. The 99 is the indy chassis and the 00 is the actual gen II chassis.

With "non-rack" and accs - I'm guessing a 1999.....As said above, if black tunnel, it's a 1999, if blue hood and alum tunnel - 2000

The 99 had a 1-piece tank & seat where the 2000 had the edge stye separated tank & seat if my memory still exists.

The 2000 has a 45 year anniversary emblem on the hood.

Hear is my friend trying to jump his 2000, sorry about the bad pic but its the only one i have.

Its definitley non painted tunnel and it appears to have the gen II tank
I never seen the anniversarry decal but I may have missed it
so from the above info all indicators point towards 2000
thanx people

I didn't think that the sks had ACCS. In 1999 the sks had kehin "D" shaped slides in the carbs not sure if this was changed in 2000.

my guess is 2000, because it has the 2000 rmk sc 800 hood on it, only its blue instead of red. also has the shorter snow flap instead of the longer ones, edge type seat...

Do the trailing arms have stickers that say "XC-10" on them?

Isnt the year somewhere on the stearing post. Also the sleds have a sreial number on the tunnel (I think) that says the year.
