Going to be powder coating my rails and A-arms. What way would most guys go? I was thinking gloss but it might scuff up and no be a nice after a while?

Gloss, matte looks like a paint can job. Good powder coating stays on very well and is pretty resistant to chipping and scuffs. Snow does not stick to it either, which is a plus on the skid rails.

Gloss for sure!

This year we did some of each and proved that the matte and crinkle coat attracks snow and ice much more than the gloss.

Gloss for sure!

no need to clear coat the gloss powdercoating topcoats. powdercoating is a much tougher coating than automotive paint. if you are worried, coat the arms, then apply a clear number plate decal over the areas you want protected the most. it's like the clear stone decals they put on cars and trucks to avoid stone chips in high impact areas. allows the full color to be seen, works very well, & inexspensive too. ski
