NEW RULE: One must ride the new AC M sled to pass judgment in a post.

C'mon guys. Please stop wasting posts on passing performance judgments that are pure speculation. Wasting everyone's time. The whole Ford/Chevy-style argument went out with parachute pants.

It would be great to see a few new threads here simply stating fact and source when possible.

I just left the dealer show in Nashville and this is what I can tell you. Polaris and doo both know they are in trouble. Cat didn't need to post the weights of the new sleds because the second you get near one you can tell it is super light. The entire thing is made out of carbon fiber and titanium plus the engine is some space material. I literally picked the sled up by the mountain bar and curled it 3 times. I bet I could have done at least 5 if I used both arms. Time to drop some weight for next year because my 140 lbs frame will be the heaviest part of the whole sled and that simply will not do!!! :fencing:

I saw some spy pics and said NOOOOO! Not the ski-doo crappy steering angle! But they make some with vertical telescoping post as well and the post will not have the weak spot by the weld either. I am sure it will be a kit for the non telescoping 800s too.

As for rider forward, without looking I am almost positive that doo's track starts way further back behind you than this one, this looks normal to me. Doo you are practically standing on the spindles...

I am psyched. Gotta do my taxes and books and see if there is enough in the budget for a new 141. One disappointment is that they do not offer any of the 141"s with a M800 style narrow a-arm option (the High Country should have it imo). If I want a 141 and I want narrow arms I am going to have to buy an entire front end for an M out of the parts department $$$$$$.

Anyone want a M with HCR style wide front suspension, trade straight up?

Apparently the cat section of snowest has turned into a whining forum. I agree with the wait til you ride it before you start bashing. That is rediculous. I do wish they would have listed the weights, but it will come in time. And I think the new cats look Bad Azz! I was worried when I saw that casino pic and even the spindle, but the worries are all gone. ****in Sweet!

That is an awesome post! Polaris and Ski-Doo are in trouble and you can curl the new sled because it looks light standing next to it! Did the space material come from the planet Krypton?

I was hoping for weight information as well as everyone else. Po and Doo did it last year and it was a nice reference. I guess we will have to wait because looking at pictures or standing next to it doesn't do justice. I'm hoping that they did find a way to lower the weight of that 4-stroke. I'll have to ride one before I jump ship.
