2012 Arctic Cat weights

I am in Nashville at the 2012 Arctic Cat launch. I just asked about everyone I could find what the weights are.

The M1100 Turbo 162 is 80 pounds heavier than the 2011 M1000 which is about 50? pounds heavier than the M8.

The 2012 M8 is supposed to come in about equal with the 2011 M8. (which is great...just don't add 50 pounds like Polaris did 05 to 06 chassis) I want 10 pounds off, but Cat has some time between now and when they actually go to production, so best case scenario: they lose 10 pounds, worst case: they gain 10 pounds. (that would stink).

I'm putting my money on the 2012 M8 153. I love the looks of the new ProMountain chassis because i think 1) Rigidity will be improved and 2) Suspension could be class leading. I get to ride them in 10 days so I'll let you know. I will post a video to www.rexburgmotorsports.com.

Thanks for the heads up on the weight-
I think I will still look at the M8 cause if the M1100 is heaver than my 07 M1000- tossingit around is going to be a chore... must be a point and shoot long tracked touring model:bathbaby:
