Right now it is 13t on bike to 17t. Inside chain case top sprocket is 17t, bottom is 16t. What are your thoughts on this for a 2011 yz450f? Also are there any options as far as a better chain tensioner that wont break? Thanks

I have the same bike and set-up, but my drive sprocket(Top inside chain case) is a 16T and bottom is a 17t. I was running a 17/17 and I needed more bottom end at my elevation. That is why I dropped to a 16t.

My CR500/TS 137 which makes a bit more power than my 11 YZ is geared 14:16 main chain 17:20 chain case. It's just about perfect. I think it would work great on my YZ.

It was a different bike on an older kit (WR450F on a 2012 ST), but I messed with gearing for a while and also ended up at 14-16-17-20. That seemed just about right. I had also flipped the chaincase sprockets, but that made my gearing way too tall.

Sorry this is my 2016 MH set-up(16/17), not a 2015
