Primary clutch alignment marks

Took my 2011 m8 primary clutch apart to clutch for out west, and noticed after the fact, there are no alignment pins, marks or anything to put end cap back on. Is there something I am missing?

a dot on the spider and a dot on the cover, seen some with X and some with just green or yellow dot's too. a picture of the cover off and a picture of the spider.

I noticed the dot on spider, and x on cap. Your pics never came through on post. I will look again on clutch to see if I can make sense of it.

The only indicators I can find are black dots on the three separate pieces. They are faint, and almost look like they could be just random scuffs.

On the 1000 there are number etchings on one side of a tower and corresponding cap side. Line them up accordingly.
