So I have been out of the sled game since the Gen 2. It was a 700 and it was awesome. I am wanting to get the Family back into it and was thinking about an IQ 6 or 700 RMK for the wife and 800 RMK for me but am leary of the 800. Do the 6 and 700's have the motor issues like the 800?? I want to get a used pro but the wife doesnt need one quite yet. What are your opinions??

Get the 700, less issues and more power than the 600cfi. Oh, and better fuel economy to boot.

The 700 has been one of Polaris best motors PERIOD.

Almost as much power as an 800, a good tuned one will embarass some 800s, and very reliable. Thay have not had hardly any of the problems that the 8s do. The 6s and 7s are good motors.

NOT THE 05 and 06 700(755) but the earlier 700 big block and later 700 small block 700. The 05&06 are a completely different animal and I can't say about them. I would take an 07 or later over an05-06 700 easily.

I can vouch for the 2010 RMK600's. Over 2000 miles on ours and not one single issue. HP is right around what your old 700 was and less weight.
