I am PAINFULLY AWARE of that.
We will be working on database optimization tonight.
But we have some very specific limitations that we just have to deal with.

Nevertheless, SPEEDING up the forums is high on my list.

We installed all of the load testing software last night.
Now I need to let it run the rest of the week and over the weekend.

That will give me a VERY clear picture of the real stress that these forums put on the SnoWest Servers, and show us what needs to be taken care of to improve overall performance.

Right now there appear to be HUGE spikes and troughs over the course of the day.
