So I am having issues pulling my drive be clutch off the motor. I have the tool installed and can put my 200 pounds on it while tapping around the edge and it won't even budge. Is this normal? This is the first time I have had to pull a clutch and I am not sure what is the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

They can be stuck at times,I prefer the hydrologic method. Water down the hole, plumbers tape the threads, works every time!

So now i have a new issue, while still trying to get my clutch pulled off the crank shaft the tool sheared off and the clutch is still on the motor. Any ideas or should i scrap it and try to find a new lower end?

I had that happen once. But fortunatly, the engine sat in the cold overnight and when i brought it in the shop, "pop"! It came loose. I wonder if a map gas torch around the base of the clutch would expand it enough to release?

Stuck Primary

We had one do that - Stuck a light bulb on it overnight and in the morning it fell off!

i have a few heat bulbs so i will try that, thanks.
