Check engine code 17 axys

I need help on how to pull the check engine code to get it to display the code on the screen I do not have the owners manual. It is a 17 axys pro rmk with standard display.

Is it an active code? Still showing on dash?

If so:
Press and hold center button on instrument cluster to enter Options menu.

Press and release the Mode button until DIAGCODE appears.

A set of two numbers will appear.
