Has anyone tried or using thunder products heavy hitter clutch weights in there axys ?

I did last year on my last trip and they worked really good, wish that I would have tried them sooner.

Did you use the stock helix ? Do they need to be loaded alot heavier than a polaris 10 series weight. Thanks.

I haven't tested the 40 degree helix yet but I will be, I'm pretty sure it will work.

I ran them at 10,000 to 12,500 ft, hero snow with some soft deep snow. Running slp stage 3 setup. I was running the 55 gram weight with the weight spreed evenly and I was right around 63 grams, blue/pink primary. Secondary was 62-42.40 with black purple secondary, 2.42 gearing with 162 2.6 track, pulled 8300 all day long with warm weather. At that altitude I was very impressed, clutches were cool, great upshift and backshift.

Using them and plan to continue. The adjustability is a great benefit if you the have time and experience to take advantage of it.
