I've never done it, but if you click on edit in your original post, there is an advanced edit button and one of the options that comes with the advanced edit page is delete, if my memory is correct.

We seldom if ever DELETE any content posted to SnoWest unless there is a COMPELLING reason to do so.

Items that have SOLD in the classifieds need to stick around so others can gauge the relative value of their items as compared to others that have already sold.
