so I found a pretty good deal on a 18 m8000 mountain cat 162. it has 1000km on it, jaws can, airframe boards, TKI belt drive, SLP skis, CFR bars etc. right now I ride a custom 12 162x3, carbon hood, nextech carbon skid, belt drive slp skis, full slp stage 2, bdx boards, wrp seat, 2016 front end etc etc. I know the 18's are a hell of a sled but will I be that much further ahead? new motor, better clutching, narrower plastic and better attack angle I know of. if I bought it Id move my carbon skid over but other than that not much will move over. I personally hate the green on them also haha. the sled is 11,500 CND and I could probably recoup 5-6k from parting out my 12. thoughts? picture of my old girl for attention

you have a lot into your but the jump is a big one. I would do it for sure!
I would also ride it with the stock rear skid and shocks they just work well.
coming off a 16 162x3" with a 900 bmp kit on to a 19 :)

I have a 16 with turbo, elka stage 5s, 18 plastics conversion, drop and roll, skis, running boards, camso track, etc. etc. etc... I am hoping to basically sell my 16 and buy a stock 18 for even money. The 18 is definitely a step up over any older cat regardless of the mods. Get it done and don't look back.

Just talked to him and he'll let it go for 10k. Hard to say no lol. Got better Picts and the thing is mint. Is the 2018 rear skid that good? Hard to believe that it could be better than the 5k carbon mono skid I have to put into it
