That is the exact opposite of my experience, it handles great on the trails. No drama for me. If there are some serious sled ski ruts it will track those, but talking to my buddies with the 18TSs they say theirs do the same thing. Perhaps you might want to play with setup a little? Perhaps I don't know what good or bad is, it just feels like a dirt bike to me going down a trail.
Eloborate on your setup if you could. Where did you place your strut bushings? What bike? What front suspension setup?

2017 Husky FE 501
6.2 springs instead of stock
track perfectly flat
on the strut where it attaches to the track,
two rubber bushings on top and one rubber and metal bushing underneath.

I had to use the opposite of what the instructions said, it said use one setup but showed a picture of another. I tried both ways and the way the instructions said to do it meant no matter what I did I could not get the track perfectly flat
