The wait is finally over. After tons of R&D we have a kit we are VERY excited to release this kit to the public. Piggybacking off what we learned on the twin rail elevate kits we took that knowledge forward in tackling the Alpha One.
Out of the box the Alpha One is very easy to ride but we felt it was unbalanced and suffered from the same poor ride height of its Ascender chassis predecessors. The front of the sled still felt planted like cats of old while the rear felt super nimble and loose. With the elevate kit the sled feels much more balanced. It takes the slow speed maneuvers and adds another degree of confidence. The increased height results in significantly decreased chassis drag so the sled can get up and get moving instead of pushing snow. The increased height also results in the ability to hang on a steeper side hill before washing out on the side panels and running boards. The lifted tunnel means you can let the track chew and work for traction longer before getting stuck. The Alpha One with Elevate is a serious back country machine. From powder carves in a meadow to the nastiest mountain terrain the Elevate package takes this sleds performance up a notch. The consensus from anyone who has thrown a leg over the test rigs has been the same. The Alpha One with Elevate is effortless to ride.
The front end comes with our 6061 T6 Billet spindles that lift the bulkhead 2" out of the snow. We were able to utilize the stock mono rail in a new mounting configuration with some updates to the front shock geometry to get the height we wanted.
