My only experience was purchasing and using one for my 15 F350 to haul my dad's 40ft Raptor. I bought the B&W Companion for the puck system based on advice I received on rv.net. It's built solid, is very simple to use and works great.

Ive tried the b and w companion and while I really liked it, it was heavy and cumbersome to get it in and out. I use my bed for storage of tools when not putting so that was huge for me. I've been using a the Anderson ultimate 5th wheel connection 2 for about 3 years now and would never buy a different setup again. very nice system and pulls amazing over unlevel ground. only 35lbs and no rust or lubrication required. no moving parts.
