163’’ PRO 850, any good?

I currently run a 2016 800 Pro with alot of goodies.

Had my mind set at running it until we get the 850 in a new chassis, but now I have come across a 163’’ with the series 6 and QD at a screaming deal.

So, my worries are: I really like the 155 length with the 800, will the 850 in 163 be a big difference as far as maneuverability and «fun factor»?

The 163 keeps the nose down and makes things like returns and hop overs harder. Other than that handling is pretty similar other than the added stability on edge and climbing ability. I ride alot of trees and drainage's, I went with a 163 for stability and the added legs on those deep days. I have ridden a few 850's and the motor and the sled as a whole is awesome if you can get one I for a good number I wouldn't hesitate.

This is right on the money. The 155 is a better play sled... the 163 is better in trees, gnarly situations, deep snow, and when the going is tough. 850 motor helps breath more fun in to the longer track lengths than the 800

I rode an 850 155 and 163 track...as debating on going from a 155 to 163, currently on a 17 AXYS 155 and have always rode a 155.

Both a buddy and I thought the 155 was still slightly more fun with the maneuverability. And there were a few times I was trying to intentionally get the 155 stuck, and it just keeps "tractoring" out.

Thanks for the input..!

But, I just ended up getting a 19 850 155 Pro with QD and the 2.6, fully set up with the new Fox IQS shock package, demo sled with 70miles at a local dealer.

Excited to get it home! Have run Fox RC2 shocks for years and been very happy with them, so excited to see how they work! Only thing I noticed is that the iqs shocks do not come with a rebound adjuster(?)

Can’t comment on the iqs setup but congrats on the purchase sounds like a sweet setup
