08 XP 800X with stubborn power loss at 3500+ ft at approx 5000 thru 7000rpm. Power returns at full throttle. 1/4 to 3/4 has a howling effect and poor acceleration. Below 3500 ft machine runs strong and clean thru out throttle and rpm range.
Looking for others with similar experience and what led them to happiness.
Completed thus far:
Inspected all carb hoses
Bench tested DPM soleniod
Replaced DPM manifold -- No change
Checked and cleaned clutches and adjusted setting -- No change
Inspected plugs and nice and brown, even when running the motor in the bog zone for 5 min.
Please help
