My brother and i were riding a few weeks ago on a great powder day and then all of the sudden the motor freezed up. We took the sled to the dealer and had the motor rebuilt and found that the cause of the broken crank was cracked carb boots. These carb boots had a recall on them. We had the two year warrenty so we got if fixed for almost free. I would just like to recommend to every one with this sled to check your carb boots and replace them if you have to. Dont blow up the sled. With out the warrenty it would have been about 2 grand. Check out the boots.

Every owner should have gotten the notice about the recall on the boots, and all new ones at dealers were supposed to be changed before being sold.
