Bought a set of adjustable ones.

Went to BRP installation website !!!!

Is there a you tube video of the actual install for the adjustable?

One step is to tap bolt holes on the right footwell area. Want to make sure I am correct on the placement.

Thank you

At 2 minutes in talks about adjustable toe installation.

Remove bolt holding the brake cover …. 2018 does not have a bolt. It's a nut and the bolt is welded to the tunnel !!!

When installing with the existing bolt cant get 2 turns on the nut.

So how do I easily remove a WELDED bolt on the tunnel?

Maybe I could drill out the toe hold frame and countersink using a M6 TRUSS HEAD BARREL NUT around 10mm long. Leaving the bolt welded to the tunnel intact.

Line them up, you do not need to drill out any welded bolt, the bolt and guy nut that comes out is the one the goes through the footwell to inside the clutch area, it is a 10 mm on both sides, and yes you will love them, every other sled has them, the bolts just screw in, there are plastic grommets hiding the holes, just back those out...its all in the video.

Thank you for your reply.

I removed the plastic from one of the 2 holes above the disc brake exposing the nut mounted to the bulkhead so can screw in kit supplied bolt

The driver side of the sled where the brake cover is located has a nut holding it on. The bolt is welded to the tunnel. The bolt is not long enough for the nut to thread on with the brake cover and the toe hold bracket together.

In the video at 2 minutes a bolt is removed holding on the brake cover. For my sled there is a permanently fixed bolt and a nut (M6 flanged 1.00) comes off to remove brake cover.

Will post pics !

With nut on.

The bolt head is flat with no way to unscrew it. Bolt is welded to the tunnel. Inside the tunnel the bolt is flat and painted over

ADJUSTABLE TOE HOLDS

Other big issue … Kit uses all supplied bolts. On 2018 Summit SP the spot on the brake housing uses a nut. The bolt is welded to the tunnel and not long enough to thread bolt on for brake cover AND toe hold mount.

How did you mount to sled on the driver side?
